Arunachal to Host ‘The Platform 3.0’ to Empower Youth and Promote Innovation

Itanagar, April 16: Pema Khandu, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, has announced the launch of “The Platform 3.0”, a major youth-focused initiative aimed at promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and self-employment in the state.

The two-day event will be held on April 17 and 18, 2026, at the State Banquet Hall in Itanagar under the theme “Innovation, Skilling & Empowering with AI.” The initiative seeks to create opportunities for young people to explore emerging technologies and develop sustainable livelihoods.

According to the Chief Minister, the programme is designed as a dynamic convergence of avenues and opportunities to empower the youth of Arunachal Pradesh and support the vision of an Atmanirbhar (self-reliant) Arunachal.

The event is being organised by the Arunachal Photography Club with support from the Department of Youth Affairs, Arunachal Pradesh under the state government’s Mission Youth initiative.

“The Platform 3.0” will bring together young entrepreneurs, startups, artisans, filmmakers, industry experts and aspiring youth, providing them with a platform to exchange ideas, showcase their work and explore new opportunities.

Khandu encouraged young people across the state to participate actively in the event, urging them to explore new possibilities and take confident steps towards building a sustainable and independent future.
