Itanagar, April 7: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday felicitated 161 successful candidates who cleared the Arunachal Engineering Service (AES) Examination 2025, congratulating them on their achievement and urging them to dedicate their knowledge and skills to the service of society.
The felicitation ceremony, held in Itanagar, also witnessed the presentation of appointment orders to the selected candidates, who will join various works departments of the Arunachal Pradesh government as Assistant Engineers. The recruitment, conducted through the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), marks an important step in strengthening the state's technical workforce and infrastructure development efforts.
Addressing the newly appointed engineers, Khandu emphasized the importance of public service and called upon them to use their expertise for the benefit of the people, particularly those living in remote and underserved areas of the state. He encouraged the young professionals to approach their responsibilities with dedication, innovation, and a strong sense of purpose.
“Use your knowledge to serve the most deprived and underprivileged. Innovate with purpose, create impact, and make a difference where it matters most,” the Chief Minister said.
Khandu noted that engineering professionals play a crucial role in shaping the state's future through the planning and execution of infrastructure projects. He urged the recruits to uphold integrity, professionalism, and accountability while carrying out their duties, adding that their work would directly contribute to the development and welfare of Arunachal Pradesh.
Assuring them of the government's full support, the Chief Minister said their appointment marks the beginning of a journey filled with responsibility and opportunities to make meaningful contributions to society. He expressed confidence that the newly appointed engineers would become valuable assets to the state administration.
Khandu also extended special congratulations to candidates from his Assembly constituency who successfully cleared the examination.
The 161 Assistant Engineers will now serve in different works departments across the state, supporting infrastructure development, public service delivery, and the government's vision for inclusive and sustainable growth in Arunachal Pradesh.
