Imphal, February 3: BJP legislator Yumnam Khemchand on Tuesday expressed gratitude to the party’s central and state leadership after being elected as the Leader of the BJP Legislature Party in Manipur.

In a statement, Khemchand thanked BJP President Shri Nitin Nabin, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, and BJP MLAs of Manipur for reposing their trust in him.
Accepting the responsibility, Khemchand said he would discharge his duties with humility and a deep sense of commitment. He pledged to work with sincerity to honour the confidence placed in him and to contribute towards realising the vision of Viksit Bharat and Viksit Manipur.
