In a media release, TSA-GHQ accused three individuals - Lamminlun Singsit, Lungoulen Guite and Kamchon Kipgen - who identify themselves as office-bearers of “Thadou Inpi Sadar Hills” (TI-SH), of issuing coercive WhatsApp messages on February 17 and 20 summoning Mr. George L. Thadou, TSA Sadar Hills President, to appear before them in Kangpokpi.
The association termed the messages as electronic harassment and criminal intimidation, alleging violations of constitutional rights. It further accused the trio of being associated with the Committee on Tribal Unity (CoTU), Kangpokpi, and claimed they were attempting to misrepresent and dilute the distinct identity of the Thadou community.
TSA-GHQ also alleged that the individuals were involved in activities that have contributed to unrest in Kangpokpi since the 2023 ethnic violence in Manipur, though these claims could not be independently verified.

The student body demanded that the Manipur and Central governments register an FIR, conduct a thorough investigation into the matter, examine alleged links with separatist activities, and provide security to TSA leaders.
Reaffirming its stand, TSA-GHQ stated that it remains committed to peace, education and constitutional principles, and rejected what it termed as efforts to intimidate or misappropriate Thadou identity.
The statement was issued by Mr. Vicky Thadou, Spokesperson of TSA-GHQ.
