During the screening programme, a total of 37 elderly persons were diagnosed with cataracts and identified as eligible for free surgery. Out of them, 30 beneficiaries consented to undergo the surgical procedure during the camp. The remaining individuals opted not to undergo surgery for personal reasons.

All beneficiaries who underwent surgery received comprehensive treatment at no cost, including cataract surgery, intraocular lens implantation, medicines, and post-operative follow-up care. Medical professionals ensured that the patients were provided with proper guidance on recovery and eye health after the procedure.
