Senapati, February 12: Loshi Dikho on Wednesday assured that Nagas would remain neutral in all circumstances and would not engage in conflicts along communal lines. He made the statement while addressing a thanksgiving programme held in his honour at his hometown Punanamei in Senapati district.

The event was organised by thousands of well-wishers following his swearing-in as the Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur on February 5. The thanksgiving gathering took place at Asufü Ground in Punanamei and witnessed the participation of church leaders, civil society organisations, village authorities, and residents from Mao, Poumai, Maram, and neighbouring areas.
In his address, Dikho expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Mao, Poumai, Maram, and the Karong constituency for electing him as their representative. He thanked the community for their continued trust and support, describing his victory and appointment as a collective achievement of the people.

Reiterating his commitment to peace and unity, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasized that the Naga community would uphold neutrality and work towards stability and development.
He also assured the gathering that helicopter services would soon be introduced in Senapati district to enhance connectivity and improve accessibility in the region, signalling a focus on infrastructure development during his tenure.
