The launch ceremony was attended by educators, students, technology professionals, and representatives of the app development team. The initiative marks a significant step towards integrating modern technology with education and promoting accessible learning opportunities for students regardless of their geographical location or economic background.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Chinzah described the “Mitin Huapzo Zirna App” as an important milestone in the state's educational development. He praised the efforts of the young Mizo developers behind the platform and expressed confidence that the application would become a valuable tool for students seeking quality learning resources.
He said the app has the potential to transform the way students access educational content by creating a modern and efficient platform for knowledge-sharing. According to him, the initiative demonstrates how innovation and technology can be harnessed to address educational challenges and bridge learning gaps across the state.
Dr. Chinzah particularly highlighted the benefits the platform could bring to students living in remote areas and those who are unable to attend private tuition classes or coaching centres due to financial constraints. He noted that many students face difficulties accessing quality educational support because of distance, limited resources, or economic challenges, and said the app could help level the playing field by making learning materials more readily available.
The Zirna App has been developed by Fiara Infotech and offers syllabus-aligned study materials designed to support students in their academic journey. By incorporating artificial intelligence, the platform aims to provide a more interactive and personalised learning experience, helping students better understand subjects and prepare for examinations.

Developers said the application has been designed to complement classroom learning and provide students with easy access to educational resources anytime and anywhere. The platform is expected to be particularly useful for self-study and revision, enabling learners to progress at their own pace.
The launch of Zirna reflects a growing emphasis on digital education and innovation in Mizoram. Officials and educators expressed hope that the platform would encourage wider adoption of technology in learning and contribute to improving educational outcomes across the state.
As digital learning continues to gain importance, initiatives such as Zirna are expected to play a key role in ensuring inclusive, affordable, and accessible education for students throughout Mizoram, while also showcasing the capabilities of local technology entrepreneurs and innovators.
