According to officials, the proposed Peace City will cover an area of approximately 60 square kilometres and will be developed under a Greenfield City model. The master plan has been designed to create a well-planned urban centre with dedicated zones for residential, commercial, educational, healthcare, recreational, and industrial purposes.

During the meeting, officials presented detailed layouts and land-use plans for various sectors within the proposed city. The project includes designated residential neighbourhoods, commercial hubs, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, green parks, open spaces, and a modern sports complex. An Industrial Hub has also been incorporated into the draft plan with the aim of promoting economic growth, attracting investment, and generating employment opportunities.

The review meeting examined the zoning structure and infrastructure requirements necessary for the development of the city. Officials and consultants discussed various aspects of urban planning, including transportation networks, public utilities, environmental sustainability, and future expansion possibilities. Necessary revisions and improvements identified in the master plan were also deliberated to ensure that the project aligns with long-term development goals and international urban planning standards.

The Thenzawl Peace City project has been proposed under the Greenfield City initiative, and a formal proposal has already been submitted to SASCI for consideration. Officials informed the meeting that once the proposal receives approval, the project is expected to proceed without significant delay.
