Aizawl, February 13, 2026: Lalduhoma today reviewed the ongoing Thenzawl Peace City Master Plan at his office in Aizawl.
The proposed Peace City will cover an area of approximately 60 square kilometres, divided into multiple zones with planned allocations for residential areas, commercial centres, educational institutions, health facilities, green parks, and a sports complex. An Industrial Hub has also been incorporated into the draft plan.

Officials discussed detailed zoning arrangements and land-use plans for various sectors within the proposed city. Necessary revisions and improvements identified in the prepared master plan were also deliberated during the meeting.

The Thenzawl Peace City is being proposed under a Greenfield City project, with a proposal currently submitted to SASCI for consideration. If approved, the project is expected to move forward without delay.
The meeting was attended by UD & PA Minister Pu K. Sapdanga, Commissioner & Secretary to CM Pu Vanlaldina Fanai, Secretary UD&PA Pu Lalmalsawma Pachuau, OSD to CM Pi R. Lalrodingi, representatives from IPE Global (the master plan consultants), and other government officials.
