In a public appeal issued on February 14, ITLF stated that unidentified miscreants reportedly pelted stones at Vualzong’s residence around 1:00 AM before fleeing the scene. The forum described the incident as deeply alarming and unacceptable, stating that such acts of intimidation endanger not only an individual household but also undermine the unity and collective cause of the people.
Ginza Vualzong, who also serves as spokesperson of the Kuki-Zo Council (KZC), has been at the forefront of the Kuki-Zo people’s movement since May 3, 2023. According to ITLF, he has consistently articulated the community’s demand for a Separate Administration in the form of a Union Territory with Legislature.

The forum termed any attempt to target him as an attack on the collective voice and shared struggle of the Kuki-Zo people. It urged the public to set aside personal grievances and internal hostilities, emphasizing that personal vendettas and acts of intimidation have no place in a movement built on unity, sacrifice, and the pursuit of justice.
At what it described as a critical juncture, ITLF appealed to all sections of society to exercise restraint, wisdom, and a heightened sense of collective responsibility, cautioning against internal divisions that could weaken their common purpose.
