Imphal, February 28: Security forces have arrested four active cadres of People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak - PREPAK (Pro) in separate operations across Imphal West and Thoubal districts, according to Manipur Police.

On February 26, an active cadre identified as Oinam Dhananjoy Singh (36) of Liwa Road Maibam Leikai, Imphal West, was arrested from the Khuman Lampak area under Imphal Police Station. A mobile phone along with two SIM cards was seized from his possession.
On February 27, security forces arrested another active cadre, Thokchom Rabichandra Singh (36) of Heirok Part-II, Thoubal district, from Uyal Makha Leikai under Thoubal Police Station. He was reportedly involved in extortion activities. A mobile phone was recovered from him.
In another operation the same day, Khuraijam Rojitkumar Singh (37) of Thongju Part-II Makha Leikai, Imphal East district, was arrested from his residence under Singjamei Police Station, Imphal West. Security personnel seized a mobile phone and an Aadhaar card.

Additionally, Kshetrimayum Laiba Meitei (42) of Lamdeng Khunou, Imphal West district, was arrested from his residence under Lamsang Police Station. A mobile phone and an identity card were recovered from his possession.
Police officials stated that further investigation is underway and security operations continue to curb unlawful activities in the state.
