The concert, originally scheduled at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, will now be held at the RBDSA Sports Complex. The announcement was made by BookMyShow on social media.
According to the organisers, the decision was taken due to circumstances beyond their control. They apologised for the inconvenience caused and assured fans that all previously purchased tickets will remain valid, with no changes required to existing bookings.
Concert-goers have been advised to follow BookMyShow’s official platforms for updates on entry gates, seating arrangements, parking, and event timings.
Formed in 1977 in Sheffield, England, Def Leppard is one of the most iconic rock bands in the world. The group rose to global fame in the 1980s with chart-topping albums such as Pyromania and Hysteria. Known for hits like “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Hysteria,” and “Photograph,” the band has sold over 100 million records worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.
The Shillong concert is expected to draw thousands of rock fans from across the Northeast, making it one of the biggest live music events in the region this year.
