The website has been developed under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) – MZ4 Marketing Intervention initiative to provide a reliable and structured online marketplace for Mizo entrepreneurs, artisans, and producers.

Commerce & Industries Minister F. Rodingliana graced the launch as chief guest. In his address, he noted that while many Mizo entrepreneurs have started using IT platforms for business, there has been no dedicated and trustworthy e-commerce platform exclusively for Mizo products. He described the launch of MadeByMizo.com as a significant step forward, enabling both domestic and international buyers to confidently access quality Mizo-made goods.

The Minister highlighted that one of the major challenges faced by local producers has been market linkage. He said the new platform aligns closely with the Mizoram Government’s Handholding Policy, which aims to strengthen market access for local entrepreneurs and MSMEs.

Emphasising that MadeByMizo.com is more than just a website, he said it will serve as a gateway connecting Mizo entrepreneurs, skilled artisans, and farmers to wider national and international markets. He encouraged producers to maintain quality standards and showcase only the best of Mizo craftsmanship.

The event was chaired by L.P. Lalchangkima, Managing Director of ZOHANDCO, while J.K. Dawngzuala, Chairman of ZOHANDCO, attended as guest of honour. Pu Zodinpuia, Liaison Officer, RAMP, delivered the vote of thanks.

MadeByMizo.com is a curated platform featuring high-quality products made exclusively by Mizo artisans using locally sourced raw materials. The website provides detailed information about sourcing, production locations, and producers to ensure transparency and authenticity.

Products are categorised into food and beverages, textiles, health-related items, handicrafts, and more. The platform is not an open marketplace; interested businesses can apply to join through the official MadeByMizo Instagram page.

To further expand market reach, MadeByMizo kiosks are planned to be established in Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Delhi, where selected Mizo products will be showcased, strengthening the state’s presence in major metropolitan markets.
