Guwahati, February 16, 2026: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has cancelled the result of the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024 with immediate effect due to an inadvertent error in the earlier notification.

In an official cancellation notice issued on February 16, 2026, the Commission stated that the result uploaded vide letter No. 460PSC/CON/Exam-37/2024-2025 stands withdrawn. The decision was taken after the error was detected in the notified result.

The notification, signed by the Principal Controller of Examinations, clarified that the Commission will upload a fresh select list within a short time following careful re-examination.
Copies of the cancellation notice have been forwarded to the Chairperson and Members of APSC, the Secretary, Joint Secretary, the Deputy/Under Secretary (Exam Section), and the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Assam, for publication in leading newspapers and wider circulation.
The APSC has assured candidates that a revised and accurate select list will be released soon.
