According to officials, information about the fire was received late at night, prompting an immediate response from Assam Rifles personnel stationed in the area. Recognising the potential danger posed by the rapidly spreading flames, troops quickly mobilised and rushed to the affected village to assist residents and support firefighting efforts.

Upon reaching the site, the security personnel launched fire containment operations and worked closely with villagers to evacuate families from vulnerable areas. They also helped move belongings and essential household items to safer locations in an effort to minimise losses.

The Assam Rifles coordinated closely with the local administration and emergency response agencies to tackle the blaze. Through their combined efforts, the spread of the fire was checked before it could engulf more houses and threaten a larger section of the village.

Officials stated that the timely intervention of the security forces played a crucial role in preventing a potentially more serious disaster. The troops not only assisted in controlling the flames but also provided reassurance and support to affected residents during the emergency.

Despite the intensity of the fire, no casualties or injuries were reported. Authorities credited the swift response, effective coordination, and cooperation between villagers, local officials, and security personnel for averting loss of life.
