Jorethang, Sikkim, January 20: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay on Sunday inaugurated a newly constructed Auditorium-cum-10 Room School Building at PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Jorethang, during the Maghe Sankranti Mela celebrations. The inauguration marked a significant milestone in the institution’s development and underscored the state government’s continued commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure across Sikkim.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister expressed immense happiness at the inauguration, describing it as a moment of great pride for the school and the local community. He extended heartfelt congratulations to the Principal, faculty members, students, the School Management Committee, parents, and all stakeholders whose collective efforts and dedication made the project possible.
Highlighting the importance of modern educational facilities, Prem Singh Tamang said that quality infrastructure is essential for creating a conducive learning environment and nurturing the overall growth of students. He noted that the newly constructed auditorium would provide an ideal venue for academic programmes, cultural events, seminars, workshops, and other co-curricular activities, enabling students to develop their talents beyond the classroom.
