CM Neiphiu Rio Launches MARCOFED’s E-Commerce Platform ‘NagaBazaar.com’ on Republic Day

Kohima, Jan 26: Marking the 77th Republic Day, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Sunday launched MARCOFED’s e-commerce platform NagaBazaar at the Secretariat Complex in Kohima.

The digital marketplace, accessible at www.nagabazaar.com, is envisioned as a scalable and inclusive platform aimed at promoting cooperative-led growth, ensuring fair pricing and strengthening supply chains across the state. The launch symbolised the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat and national progress through technology-driven self-reliance.

Officials said NagaBazaar has been designed to bridge gaps in traditional retail by leveraging modern digital tools, while championing homegrown products and local producers. The platform seeks to provide wider market access to cooperatives, farmers, artisans and entrepreneurs, thereby contributing to Nagaland’s evolving digital economy.

At present, delivery services through the platform are available in Dimapur and Chümoukedima, with plans to expand coverage in phases. NagaBazaar offers a wide range of quality goods curated to meet consumer needs while creating value-driven segments for customers.
