Arunachal Cabinet Meets in Anini Under ‘Cabinet Aapke Dwar’, Focus on Last-Mile Governance

Anini, Dibang Valley, January 31: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Thursday chaired a Cabinet meeting in Anini under the Cabinet Aapke Dwar initiative, taking governance directly to the remote mountain district of Dibang Valley.

Emphasising inclusive and people-centric administration, the Chief Minister said that governance should not remain confined to the state capital, asserting that “no place is too remote when it comes to service.” He stated that the Cabinet meeting in Anini reflected the government’s clear commitment to doorstep governance and last-mile delivery.

During the visit, the Chief Minister inaugurated the newly constructed District Secretariat in Anini, which will house all key district offices under one roof. The facility is expected to ensure faster public services, improved coordination among departments, and greater administrative efficiency for the people of Dibang Valley.

The Cabinet also took several important decisions aimed at the welfare and development of the district, reinforcing the government’s focus on equitable growth across all regions of the state.

In addition, Seva Aapke Dwar was held at Etalin, further bringing administrative services closer to citizens. The Chief Minister reiterated that his government remains committed to ensuring that development and governance reach every doorstep, particularly in far-flung and border areas.

The Cabinet Aapke Dwar initiative is part of the state government’s broader effort to strengthen grassroots governance and directly engage with citizens in remote regions.
