Lawngtlai, Dec 9: The counting of votes for the 12th Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC)–MDC Election 2025 was successfully completed today at the Govt. Lawngtlai College Hall. The process began at 8:00 AM and concluded smoothly by 1:30 PM, officials reported.
Counting was conducted across three designated halls, with Hall 1 operating 5 tables, Hall 2 with 8 tables, and Hall 3 with 9 tables. A total of 56,873 votes were cast in the election, comprising 47,769 EVM votes and 453 postal ballots.
Elections were held for 25 MDC constituencies, and the following candidates emerged victorious:

Following the declaration of results, Returning Officers Shri Donny Lalruatsanga, Shri David Lalrinawma, and Shri H. Zonunmawia presented the Certificates of Election to all newly elected MDCs.
