Agartala, September 24, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on Wednesday distributed clothes as Sharadiya gifts to women in different wards of Agartala ahead of the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations.
The distribution took place in Ward No. 20 in front of Ujjayanta Palace and later in the Ramnagar area of Ward No. 16, where the Chief Minister personally handed over clothes to mothers and sisters of the community.
Extending his festive greetings, Dr. Saha prayed to Goddess Durga for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state. “Durga Puja is a festival of joy and sharing. These small gestures are meant to bring smiles and strengthen the bonds of community,” he said.
The programme was attended by Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor and MLA Dipak Majumdar, the District President, and several other dignitaries.
