Shillong, September 24, 2025: The iconic Cherry Blossom Festival of Meghalaya has been conferred with the Golden Banyan Award in the category of Best Cultural Music & Dance at The Week Heritage Awards.
Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma shared the news on social media, congratulating the Department of Tourism and Team Rockski, the event organisers, for their role in shaping the festival into a nationally acclaimed cultural celebration.
