KOHIMA, Sept 5: Nagaland Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to teachers across the state on the occasion of Teachers’ Day, acknowledging their invaluable role in shaping society and the future of the nation.
In his message, Rio described teachers as the guiding light of society who impart knowledge, instill values, and inspire generations to dream and achieve. “Their dedication, patience, and selfless service remain the cornerstone of building an enlightened, progressive, and harmonious society,” he said.
The Chief Minister emphasized that in today’s fast-changing era of technology and innovation, the role of teachers has become even more critical in fostering creativity and critical thinking to address 21st-century challenges. He reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening the education system, empowering teachers, and ensuring that the noble profession of teaching receives the dignity and respect it deserves.
