IMPHAL, Sept 5: On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Governor of Manipur Ajay Kumar Bhalla extended heartfelt greetings and expressed deep respect for the invaluable contributions of teachers who dedicate their lives to nurturing young minds.
In his message, the Governor described teachers as the “guiding light” who inspire, empower, and shape the future of society through their wisdom, patience, and selfless service.
Recalling the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, he said the day serves as a reminder of the true essence of education - knowledge enriched with values. Teachers, he noted, not only impart lessons from books but also instill discipline, courage, and compassion, enabling students to grow as responsible citizens.
