Imphal, September 23, 2025: In a historic move to modernize public administration, the Government of Manipur today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) and Mission Karmayogi at the Old Secretariat Conference Hall, Imphal.
The agreement aims to transform governance by enhancing the professional competence of civil servants, leveraging technology for agile administration, and promoting accountability, transparency, and innovation.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Secretary underscored the landmark nature of the partnership, noting that it reaffirms Manipur’s commitment to building a future-ready civil service capable of effectively serving the people.

As part of the collaboration, Manipur’s civil servants will gain access to the Integrated Government Online Training (iGOT) Karmayogi platform, providing continuous learning opportunities to bridge knowledge gaps and strengthen governance mechanisms.
The initiative aligns the state’s administrative reforms with the national vision for a New India, ensuring that public service delivery in Manipur is efficient, transparent, and citizen-centric.
