AGARTALA, August 15, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha on Friday attended a blood donation camp organized to mark the 79th Independence Day, the 153rd birth anniversary of Rishi Aurobindo, and the 70th foundation day of Aurobindo Sangha.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister lauded the initiative and encouraged citizens to actively participate in blood donation drives. “Blood donation is life donation, save lives with blood,” he said, emphasizing the importance of voluntary blood donation in saving lives and strengthening healthcare services.
Dr. Saha also took part in several social activities organized by the club authorities as part of the celebrations and congratulated them for their continued service to society.

MLA Ms. Mina Rani Sarkar and other dignitaries were also present at the programme. The Chief Minister commended the combined efforts of community organizations, noting that such initiatives not only honor the legacy of Rishi Aurobindo but also reflect the spirit of social responsibility.
The event drew enthusiastic participation from donors and local residents, reinforcing the role of community-driven initiatives in promoting public health and welfare in Tripura.
