Agartala, Aug 6, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on Wednesday chaired the inaugural meeting of the State Level Advisory Committee under the Department of Information & Cultural Affairs.
The meeting reviewed the department’s existing infrastructure and discussed strategic plans for future development. Newly appointed committee members, including prominent personalities from Tripura’s art and cultural spheres, were formally introduced during the session.
CM Saha emphasized the importance of promoting healthy cultural practices and preserving the state’s rich heritage and traditions. He called on members to work collectively towards strengthening Tripura’s cultural identity while embracing modern approaches to information dissemination.
Officials stated that the committee will serve as a guiding body to align cultural initiatives with the state’s development goals.
