New Delhi, Aug 6, 2025: BJP Nagaland State President Benjamin Yepthomi met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss the long-pending redevelopment of Dimapur Railway Station, a vital infrastructure project under the Act East Policy.
The meeting focused on expediting the station’s modernization to enhance connectivity, passenger amenities, and regional economic integration. The redevelopment is seen as a strategic step to boost trade, tourism, and mobility in Nagaland and the broader Northeast.

Yepthomi noted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Act East Policy has been instrumental in strengthening infrastructure, connectivity, and inclusive growth across the region.
