Tobu, Nagaland, Aug 6, 2025: he 35th edition of the prestigious August Gold Cup Football Tournament was held with great enthusiasm at Tobu Town in Nagaland, bringing together football enthusiasts, players and community members in a celebration of sportsmanship and youth talent. The event was graced by K. Konngam Konyak, Advisor for Treasuries and Accounts and Art & Culture, Government of Nagaland, as the Chief Guest.

Konyak further stated that sports play a crucial role in nation-building and youth empowerment, aligning with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has consistently emphasized the importance of sports in developing a healthy, confident and capable generation.
