Aizawl, Aug 6, 2025: The Mizoram Universal Healthcare Scheme (MUHCS) has reopened its registration process for the month of August, with 18,294 households already enrolled under the scheme.
The current registration drive, launched as a grace period, will see fees increased by 50% compared to the regular enrolment rate. As of August 4, an additional 99 households have registered under the General Ward category, while 10 each have joined the Semi-Private and Private categories.
During the regular enrolment window between April and June 2025, registration fees stood at ₹2,500 for General Ward, ₹5,000 for Semi-Private, and ₹10,000 for Private categories. Under the grace period, these rates have risen to ₹3,750, ₹7,500, and ₹15,000 respectively.

Officials have urged households to take advantage of this final opportunity to enrol, highlighting the benefits of comprehensive healthcare coverage under MUHCS.
