Kohima/Chennai, August 16, 2025: Nagaland bid a heartfelt farewell to its Governor, La. Ganesan, as memorial and funeral services were held in Kohima and Chennai to honour the life and legacy of the veteran statesman, whose passing has left a deep void in public life.

A solemn memorial service was organized at Raj Bhavan, Kohima, where political leaders, government officials, members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, civil servants, and dignitaries gathered to pay their last respects to the late Governor. Zeliang, the Chief Secretary, and the Director General of Police, among others.
