Imphal, August 12, 2025: The Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Manipur, has announced the launch of applications for multiple welfare schemes for the year 2025-26 aimed at supporting persons with disabilities and destitute older persons.
The schemes include:
• Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
• Unemployment Allowance for Educated Unemployed Persons with Disabilities
• Marriage Incentive Award for Persons with Disabilities
• Assistance for Purchase/Fitting of Aids & Appliances
• Financial Assistance to Destitute Older Persons
Application forms will be available at respective District Social Welfare Offices (DSWO) on working days starting 20th August 2025 and can also be downloaded from socialwelfare.mn.gov.in.
The filled-in forms, along with required documents, must be submitted to the concerned DSWO on or before 29th September 2025.
