Imphal, August 29, 2025: The Hon’ble Governor of Manipur, Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, conducted a detailed review of the Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM) at Raj Bhavan, focusing on initiatives aimed at uplifting rural communities.
The review highlighted key components such as the progress and impact of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETIs), and specialized training programs designed for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
Governor Bhalla stressed the importance of strengthening manpower and expanding outreach efforts to maximize the program’s effectiveness at the grassroots level. He called for enhanced coordination and capacity building to ensure that the benefits of these livelihood projects reach the most vulnerable sections of rural Manipur.
