Imphal, August 22, 2025: Director General of Police (DGP) Manipur, Shri Rajiv Singh, undertook a two-district tour of Tengnoupal and Thoubal to assess the prevailing law and order situation, interact with police personnel, and boost the morale of forces engaged in frontline duties.
At Moreh Police Station, the DGP met with police and commando personnel, motivating them to continue their dedicated service. He also engaged with representatives of civil society organisations (CSOs), underscoring the importance of community cooperation in maintaining peace and security.
He later visited Tengnoupal Police Station and District Headquarters, where he encouraged personnel to remain steadfast in maintaining law and order while intensifying efforts in the fight against drug trafficking. He also held discussions with officials of the Assam Rifles, reviewing ongoing security measures, particularly those related to the sensitive border areas and fencing initiatives.

In Thoubal district, the DGP convened a meeting with senior police officers, including Officers-in-Charge, to review law and order management, progress of case investigations, and actions taken against drug-related crimes.
The visit, officials noted, reflects an enduring commitment to security, inter-agency coordination, and the recognition of the tireless dedication of Manipur Police personnel.
