Assam Rifles Seizes Drugs Worth Over ₹10.7 Crore in Mizoram

Zokhawthar,  Aug 21: In a major crackdown on cross-border narcotics smuggling, Assam Rifles seized 3.33 kg (30,300 tablets) of methamphetamine and 190.90 grams of heroin No-4, with an estimated market value of ₹10.74 crore, from Crossing Point 3 in Zokhawthar, Champhai district.

The operation also led to the recovery of a Kenbo bike and a mobile phone used in the smuggling activities. The seized narcotics and items were handed over to the Excise and Narcotics Department, Champhai for further investigation.
