Itanagar, Aug 6, 2025: Renowned mountaineer Kabak Yano from Arunachal Pradesh has successfully scaled Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak at 5,895 metres, as part of her ambitious “7-Summit Mountaineering Expedition.” An accomplished Everester, Yano unfurled the Indian Tricolour atop the mountain, marking another milestone in her decorated climbing career.
Kilimanjaro, located in Tanzania, is one of the coveted Seven Summits - the tallest peaks on each of the seven continents. Yano’s latest feat brings her one step closer to completing the challenge, considered one of the toughest goals in mountaineering.
