Itanagar, August 12, 2025: Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated the Tiranga Mahotsav in the presence of Lt. General KT Parnaik (Retd), Hon’ble Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, who attended as the Chief Guest.
The event, organised by the Department of Art & Culture, featured a Tiranga Mela and a musical concert filled with patriotic songs, stirring a deep sense of unity and national pride among attendees.
Addressing the gathering, CM Khandu expressed gratitude to the organisers for a programme that “didn’t just entertain us but moved us,” noting how the vibrant celebrations reflected the collective spirit of hope and pride.

The Tiranga Mahotsav, held as part of the Independence Day week celebrations, aims to inspire citizens to uphold the values symbolised by the national flag while fostering cultural unity across the state.
