The programme was attended by Secretary of the Commerce and Industries Department, Karma D. Youtso, along with Director (MSME) M. Ravi Kumar, Director, DHH, Tshering Topgay Bhutia, and Joint Secretary Champa Sharma. Local entrepreneurs, invited guests, and representatives from various sectors were also present.

The second day of the festival focused primarily on celebrating and promoting Sikkim’s diverse cultural traditions through an array of folk performances, traditional music, dance presentations, and cultural showcases by artists representing different communities of the Himalayan state.

Artists took to the stage to present traditional folk dances and musical performances that reflected the customs, values, and artistic heritage of Sikkim’s various ethnic groups. The performances offered spectators an opportunity to experience the cultural richness that continues to shape the identity of the state and remains an integral part of its social fabric.

One of the highlights of the evening was a cultural fashion show, which attracted considerable attention from visitors and tourists. Participants showcased traditional attire and ornaments worn by different communities across Sikkim, providing a glimpse into the state's diverse cultural identities and centuries-old traditions. The colorful display celebrated indigenous craftsmanship while emphasizing the importance of preserving traditional customs in a rapidly modernizing world.

The cultural presentations received an enthusiastic response from the audience, particularly tourists visiting MG Marg, one of Gangtok’s most popular destinations. Visitors actively participated in the celebrations, interacted with performers, and expressed appreciation for the unique cultural expressions on display.

Officials noted that Sikkim Utsav serves a dual purpose—celebrating the state’s cultural diversity while simultaneously promoting local enterprises, artisans, and MSMEs. By integrating cultural performances with entrepreneurship and local business promotion, the event seeks to create greater visibility for Sikkim-made products and services while strengthening the state's tourism appeal.

The festival also reflects the broader objectives of the RAMP Scheme, which aims to enhance the competitiveness and growth of MSMEs through innovation, market access, and capacity-building initiatives. Organizers believe that showcasing Sikkim’s cultural heritage alongside local entrepreneurship can generate new opportunities for artisans, small businesses, and community-based enterprises.
