The programme brought together party leaders, elected representatives, and grassroots workers from different parts of the state for discussions on organisational development, leadership, and public service.
Addressing the inaugural session, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasized the importance of continuous training and capacity-building within political organisations. He stated that such programmes help equip party workers with greater clarity of purpose, responsibility, discipline, and commitment towards serving the people.
According to Patton, the Prashikshan Mahabhiyan is designed not only to strengthen the BJP’s organisational foundation but also to promote ideological awareness and foster a deeper understanding of the party’s principles and vision.

Highlighting the BJP’s governance model, Patton spoke about the developmental progress achieved across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said the party remains committed to the ideals of nation-building, good governance, inclusive growth, and public welfare. He added that BJP workers play a crucial role in connecting government policies and programmes with the people at the grassroots level.
The Deputy Chief Minister further noted that training programmes such as the Prashikshan Mahabhiyan help prepare party workers to engage more effectively with local communities, address public concerns, and contribute meaningfully to governance and social development.
The programme was attended by Nagaland Minister P. Bashangchang, Advisors Kropol Vitsu and K. Konngam Konyak, BJP Nagaland State President Benjamin Yepthomi, State Secretary P. M. Ghosh, BJP town councillors from Wokha, and party karyakartas from various districts.
