According to the official itinerary, the Prime Minister will depart from Vadodara and is expected to arrive at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport at around 9:20 pm. From the airport, he will travel by helicopter and is likely to reach Guwahati at approximately 10:10 pm before proceeding to the Narengi Army Camp by around 10:25 pm. He is scheduled to stay overnight at Koinadhara before attending the oath-taking ceremony the following day.

The swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Veterinary College Playground, where Himanta Biswa Sarma will be sworn in as Chief Minister for a second consecutive term. The NDA secured a commanding mandate in the Assam Assembly elections, winning 102 of the 126 seats, while the BJP alone crossed the majority mark by securing 82 seats.

Preparations for the high-profile event are in full swing across Guwahati. The state administration has made elaborate arrangements for the ceremony, with special emphasis on security, traffic management, protocol, and logistics. Senior officials from the civil administration, police, and other departments have been coordinating closely to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.

Extensive security measures have been put in place ahead of the Prime Minister's arrival. Security personnel have intensified surveillance at key locations, including the airport, the ceremony venue, major roads, and accommodation sites for visiting dignitaries. Traffic advisories and route management plans have also been prepared to facilitate the movement of VIP convoys while minimising inconvenience to the public.
