Kiphire, April 13: A high-level delegation led by Neiphiu Rio visited the Lower Tizu area under Pongro sub-division in Kiphire district from April 10 to 13 to inspect the progress of several development projects undertaken by the Government of Nagaland.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by his wife and senior government officials, including Deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton, ministers Metsubo Jamir and Salhoutuonuo Kruse, along with advisors and legislators.
During the four-day visit, the delegation inspected the construction of the Tourist Amenities Centre at Lower Tizu and reviewed ongoing road development projects, including the Lower Tizu road via Moya and the Setsu–Lalori–Phor road.
The team also visited the Ranyak Khun Cave, a site with tourism potential, and held interactions with members of the Mimi Circle Joint Council to discuss prospects for future development initiatives in the region.

Officials said the district administration of Kiphire, along with police personnel, played a key role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the visit.
The visit aimed to assess infrastructure development and explore opportunities to boost connectivity and tourism in the remote border areas of the district.
