Imphal, April 22, 2026: The Government of Manipur has clarified that helicopter services in the state are operating normally and have not been suspended, dismissing circulating rumours.

In a public notice issued by the Department of Transport Manipur, authorities stated that helicopter services operated by Global Vectra Helicorp Limited (GVHL) and Pawan Hans Limited (PHL) are functioning as usual across the state.

The department advised the public to rely only on official government sources for accurate information and avoid spreading or believing unverified reports regarding the suspension of helicopter services.

For updates and further information, the public has been asked to contact the Imphal International Airport or the Transport Department of the state government.
