Manipur CM Yumnam Khemchand Inaugurates Development Projects, Community Hall in Langthabal

Imphal, April 28, 2026: CM Yumnam Khemchand, Manipur Minister for Municipal Administration, Housing and Urban Development (MAHUD), attended the inauguration of development projects in Langthabal Assembly Constituency held at Naorem Leikai Community Hall.

The programme was attended by Losii Dikho, Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur, and Karam Shyam Singh, MLA of Langthabal Assembly Constituency, along with other dignitaries.

Speaking at the event, CM Khemchand reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring improved infrastructure, essential services and inclusive development so that every household benefits from development initiatives. He also interacted with residents of Langthabal and appreciated their enthusiasm and aspirations for progress.

During the programme, the CM also inaugurated the Chingkhang Community Hall at Narankonjin Mayai Leikai in Langthabal Assembly Constituency and dedicated the facility to the people. The community hall is expected to serve as a space for social, cultural and religious gatherings, strengthening community engagement and unity.

Officials said such infrastructure initiatives reflect the government’s continued focus on grassroots development and improving public facilities across the state.

Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand also appreciated the proactive leadership of MLA Karam Shyam Singh in facilitating development projects for the constituency and reiterated the government’s resolve to build a stronger, more progressive and prosperous Manipur.
