Federal Bank Opens 4th Branch in Nagaland at Kuhuboto

Kuhuboto, April 28, 2026: Federal Bank inaugurated its fourth branch in Nagaland at Kuhuboto town under Niuland district on Monday, expanding banking services in the region.

T L Kiusumong Tikhir inaugurates the 4th Nagaland branch of Federal Bank at Kuhuboto town in Niuland district in the presence of bank officials and community leaders.


The branch was inaugurated by T L Kiusumong Tikhir, Deputy Commissioner of Niuland, in the presence of Titus P. A, Vice President and Regional Head of Federal Bank, along with several public leaders and residents of the subdivision.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Commissioner T. L. Kiusumong Tikhir congratulated the citizens and leaders of Kuhuboto for the successful establishment of the new branch. He said the bank should serve not only as a financial institution but also as a gateway of opportunities for youth, women and farmers in the district.

He also urged village authorities, civil society leaders and town council members to plan for the future development of Kuhuboto, stating that the town has the potential to grow into a vibrant and prosperous model town in the district.

Titus P. A expressed appreciation to the district administration and civil societies for their support in establishing the branch. He assured that the bank would provide smooth, public-friendly and modern transactional services, and encouraged citizens to cooperate with bank officials for the success of the branch.

Short speeches were also delivered by Nuhuta Tunyi, Khekiye Yepthomi, Tokato Sumi, Bohovi C Yepthomi and Mohanadas TS.

The welcome address was delivered by Mohit Gupta, while Atul Kumar Shukla proposed the vote of thanks.
