Imphal, April 11: Authorities in Manipur have announced a temporary relaxation of curfew from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM across several districts to facilitate essential movement and allow residents to carry out daily activities.

According to official orders issued by the district administrations of Thoubal, Imphal West, Imphal East, Kaching and Bishnupur, the curfew relaxation will remain in effect during the specified hours while restrictions continue during the remaining period to maintain law and order.
Officials stated that the relaxation is intended to enable residents to access essential services and carry out necessary activities while ensuring public safety.
During the relaxation period, citizens have been advised to strictly follow the notified timings, refrain from carrying weapons or any objects that could disturb public order, and cooperate with authorities in maintaining peace.
The orders also permit shops and retail establishments to operate during the relaxation hours in accordance with the guidelines issued by the administration.
Authorities have urged the public to act responsibly and work together to restore normalcy and harmony across the affected districts.
