Tripura Police Week 2026 Celebrated with Parade, Medals and Infrastructure Boost

Agartala, February 25, 2026: Chief Minister Manik Saha on Tuesday attended the grand parade marking Tripura Police Week 2026 at Manoranjan Debbarma Memorial Stadium, AD Nagar, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to strengthening policing and public safety.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister lauded the Tripura Police for their distinguished service in curbing crime, maintaining law and order, conducting anti-drug operations, preventing road accidents, and addressing various public safety concerns. He expressed confidence that the force would continue its journey of excellence with dedication, integrity, and professionalism in the years ahead.

During the event, Dr. Saha paid tribute to brave police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty at different times, honoring their courage and sacrifice.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister handed over police medals to dedicated personnel in recognition of their exemplary service. Congratulating the awardees, he said their unwavering commitment to public service would continue to inspire others.

Further strengthening infrastructure support, Dr. Saha flagged off new vehicles and two-wheelers for police stations across the state, emphasizing that improved facilities are essential for delivering efficient and responsive public service.

The Chief Minister also attended a blood donation camp organized as part of the Police Week celebrations at the stadium. He encouraged the donors and congratulated them for their humanitarian initiative, highlighting the importance of such efforts in serving society beyond official duties.
