Agartala, February 25, 2026: Tripura Police Week 2026 was celebrated with grandeur and solemnity on Tuesday at the Manoranjan Debbarma Memorial Stadium in AD Nagar, where Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha attended the grand parade and reaffirmed the state government's commitment to strengthening policing, public safety and law enforcement infrastructure.
The event brought together senior police officers, personnel from various units of the Tripura Police, government officials and members of the public to recognize the achievements and contributions of the state's law enforcement agencies. The celebrations highlighted the vital role played by the police force in maintaining peace, ensuring public safety and supporting the state's development.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister commended the Tripura Police for their dedication and professionalism in carrying out their duties. He praised the force for its efforts in maintaining law and order, combating crime, conducting anti-drug operations and addressing various public safety challenges across the state.
Dr. Saha noted that the police have played a crucial role in curbing criminal activities and ensuring a secure environment for citizens.
