The programme brought together BJYM leaders, representatives of community-based organisations (CBOs), scholars from universities, and youth delegates from different parts of Arunachal Pradesh. The gathering served as a platform for meaningful dialogue, exchange of ideas, and discussions on the challenges and opportunities facing the state.
Addressing the participants, Khandu highlighted the crucial role of youth in nation-building and development. He said the vision of a “New Arunachal” can only be achieved through the active participation of young citizens who are willing to contribute innovative ideas, embrace responsibility, and work collectively towards the state's progress.
The Chief Minister stressed the importance of creating an investment-friendly environment that can attract businesses, generate employment opportunities, and strengthen the state's economy. He also underscored the need to promote the dignity of labour and encourage young people to explore entrepreneurship, innovation, and skill development as pathways to success.
According to Khandu, sustainable growth cannot be achieved solely through government initiatives. Instead, he said, transformation requires the combined efforts of government institutions, civil society organisations, educational institutions, and citizens. He urged the youth to become active partners in development by contributing to social, economic, and community-driven initiatives.
