Aizawl, February 13, 2026: The Government of Mizoram has announced a change in office timings for employees under the state government, effective from February 16 to October 2, 2026.

According to a notification (No. 4449/2025-2026) issued earlier by the Under Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), the revised office hours will come into force from Monday, February 16, 2026, and remain in effect until October 2, 2026.
As per the order, office timings for Mizoram Secretariat and government offices within Mizoram and other North Eastern states, including Mizoram Houses, will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Meanwhile, Mizoram Houses located outside the Northeast - namely in New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Bengaluru - will function from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM during the specified period.
The revised schedule is part of the government’s seasonal adjustment of office hours.
