New Delhi, February 3: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Tuesday called on Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at Parliament House in New Delhi.

In a post shared on social media, Sangma said he congratulated Sitharaman on presenting the Union Budget for the ninth consecutive year and praised her leadership of the Finance Ministry. He described her stewardship as being marked by “remarkable grace” and consistency.

The Chief Minister also expressed gratitude to the Union Finance Minister for her keen interest in the development of Meghalaya and for her continued and unwavering support to the state.
