Imphal, February 25: Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Tuesday proceeded directly from the airport to Dingku Road in Imphal West to inspect the ongoing concrete pavement laying work, immediately after returning from Delhi.

Accompanied by senior officials, the Chief Minister reviewed the progress of the project and directed concerned departments to accelerate the pace of execution without compromising on quality standards. He stressed the importance of timely completion to ensure maximum public convenience.
The Chief Minister stated that once completed, the upgraded road will significantly improve connectivity in Imphal West, ease traffic congestion, and reduce travel time for daily commuters.

Reaffirming his government’s commitment to infrastructure development, he said the project aligns with the vision of Narendra Modi to enhance “Ease of Living” and build a developed Manipur.
Emphasizing sustained progress, the Chief Minister noted that strengthening core infrastructure remains a top priority for the state government as it works towards growth and prosperity.
