Aizawl, February 13, 2026: Minister of State and MLA of Aizawl West II Assembly Constituency, Pu Lalnghinglova Hmar, on Thursday felicitated successful candidates from his constituency who cleared the Mizoram Civil Services (Combined Competitive) Examination 2025, along with an outstanding academic achiever, at a special programme held at his office in MINECO, Aizawl.

The felicitation ceremony, which began at 2:00 pm, was organised to recognise and celebrate the achievements of young individuals from Aizawl West II who have excelled in competitive examinations and higher education. The event was attended by family members, well-wishers, and supporters of the awardees.
Among those honoured were John Hualhmingthanga of Dinthar Veng, who qualified for the Mizoram Information Service (MIS), and KD Lalthiamsama of Tuikual South and Lalchhanhima of Tuikual North, who successfully cleared the examination for the Mizoram Police Service (MPS). In recognition of their accomplishment, each of the successful civil services candidates received a commemorative memento and a cash award of ₹20,000.
The programme also recognised academic excellence. Lalthatluangi of Dawrpui Vengthar, who secured third position in Bachelor of Vocation (Interior Design) under Mizoram University, was felicitated for her outstanding academic performance. She was presented with a memento and a cash award of ₹10,000.
Speaking on the occasion, Pu Lalnghinglova Hmar expressed pride in the achievements of the awardees and noted that Aizawl West II Assembly Constituency has consistently produced talented individuals who perform well in competitive examinations and academic pursuits. He said such accomplishments bring honour not only to the constituency but also to the wider community and serve as an inspiration for younger generations.
The minister further encouraged the honourees to remain committed to excellence, professionalism, and integrity in their respective careers. He stressed that dedication, competence, and ethical conduct are essential qualities that will help them earn respect and achieve long-term success.
Highlighting the importance of education and public service, Lalnghinglova Hmar said the achievements of the awardees demonstrate the potential of Mizoram’s youth to contribute meaningfully to society and the development of the state. He expressed hope that their success stories would motivate other students and aspirants to work hard and pursue their goals with determination.
The felicitation programme concluded with words of appreciation for the families of the achievers, whose support and encouragement played an important role in their success.
