Addressing a press conference in Chümoukedima, members of the group clarified that they are not a formal organisation with office bearers or hierarchy, but a conglomeration of like-minded youths united by frustration over prolonged delays and uncertainty surrounding the Naga political issue.
“We are non-partisan. We are pro-peace, pro-agreement and pro-Naga future,” said Kuhoto I Awomi, stressing that the movement is neutral and inclusive. While appreciating the stand of the State Government, the group maintained that it is now up to the Government of India to take decisive action.
The collective expressed support for the 2015 Framework Agreement signed with the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (Isak-Muivah) and the 2017 Agreed Position with the Working Committee of Naga National Political Groups. They argued that more than a decade of delay - over 10 years since the Framework Agreement and eight years since the Agreed Position - has fostered stagnation, unemployment and economic uncertainty.
Another member, Ninoto Khekiye Chishi, said the group is not attacking any individuals or organisations but questioning a “system that has normalised the abnormal.” He alleged that prolonged delays have enabled illegal monopolies, syndicates and a culture of intimidation to thrive, eroding merit and integrity.
Aga Rengma described the group as representing the “silent majority” of Naga youths who feel excluded from decision-making processes. He said while the Government of India and various Naga political groups have traded accusations, it is the youth who bear the brunt of unemployment and economic stagnation.
The collective announced the launch of its website, fedupnagas.com, and social media platforms to mobilise support. They also revealed plans to organise a peaceful and democratic rally in the near future to press their demands.

In a white paper released online, the group outlined four key demands to the Government of India: publicly clarify its position on both agreements; set a clear, time-bound roadmap for implementation; engage transparently with all Naga stakeholders; and stop prolonging negotiations without concrete outcomes.
Emphasising their commitment to non-violence, the youths appealed to elders and parents to support the movement, stating that many educated youths remain unemployed due to the lack of political stability and industrial growth.
“We believe sincerity is proven not by statements, but by action,” the collective stated, asserting that the time for implementation is now.
